Production and Shading: The solar industry needs to do whatever it can to never overpromise and underdeliver. Production guarantees don’t deter bad actors; using the right technology pre and post-sale is the answer. Let’s be honest … onsite, real-time property data is always better than often outdated LiDAR or satellite imagery and a human guessing tree heights that look like lollipops.

Unlimited Sales Designs: Creating PV layouts and proposals shouldn’t be cost-prohibitive. If you are designing PV designs yourself you shouldn’t pay per project; we want to incentivize as many solar sales as possible with unlimited projects for our PrelimDesign™ tool.

Proposals are Your Choice: Everyone has their preferred proposal output. What matters most is your sales motion, your presentation, and your reputation. Therefore, we don’t seek to build a proposal but rather to integrate our PV design platform with any proposal tool you have. What matters for us is providing an awesome PV design to fit your workflows.

Fields Ops + PV Designs: Garbage in = garbage out. You need comprehensive field data to make accurate solar designs, and accurate solar designs to have a successful field experience. Field data and designs go hand-in-hand, which is why we centralized them on our platform.

Field Techs Care: Your #1 job is to get home safe to your family, so why spend more time on the roof—in the freezing cold or burning heat—than you have to. Whether you’re using a drone to cut down on surveying time, or an accurate layout to avoid cleaning up redesigns on install day, extra roof time doesn’t need to happen anymore.

Frictionless Finance is Real: Stipulations and rejections from financing companies are rampant, mostly due to the subjectiveness of shading analysis and image collection. No party (i.e. installer, sales org, finance provider, homeowner) should accept friction in the financing process when the right technology is used and trusted.

Technology Agnostic: Scanifly’s software intentionally plays nice with most hardware. You can fly any drone with our platform, as long as it takes geotagged images—giving you flexibility for budget, use case, and features. Our mobile app is on iOS and Android. While we suggest Chrome for your browser, we provide unlimited, ungated, human support for any setup you have.

The Value of AI is Real, but it isn’t Everything: Scanifly has AI baked into every aspect of its platform. Our software automatically removes poor drone imagery using computer vision, detects rooftop obstructions to map keepouts, generates roof outlines and snapping to create orthogonal layouts, and identifies vegetation and trees to optimize accurate shading analysis. This doesn’t mean we are an AI company, nor will AI replace the important work of solar professionals—but it certainly helps.

It’s your Data!: While we have millions of drone and property photos on our platform, as well as hundreds of thousands of PV designs, ultimately, this is your data. We house it with the highest regard for privacy and security and don’t delete anything. As long as you’re a paying customer, you and only you can access and utilize your data whenever you want it.
